Everything Objectified

Multimidea Installation,Bricolage and Found Footage Exhibition 2016, FHNW, Basel, Switzerland

As a part of the exhibition project “Bricolage and Found Footage”, I have re-interpreted Enzo Regusci’s short footage called “ Inter TV_NY” in which Enzo has drawn the diverse culture of America. Enzo Reguschi (1927-2009) is a television form developer, documentary and commissioned filmmakers, who has worked for 50 years as a Cameraman in Ticino, Switzerland and Northern Italy and he left Over 7000 films and videotapes. The chosen images and object from the footage such as red & blue stripe, Coca-Cola, people and movement etc. were objectified on my way and illustrated mathematically and geometrically. I have re- constructed the pattern as disordered contemporary life style. The working process focused on the immediate aesthetic fascination and creative reinvention. The patterns and meditational sound can deliver compelling, moderate messages to enhance the audience’s perception and memories, which is imprinted in their mind in a certain way.
